Case Study

Little Greene France

Overview

We helped Little Greene create two distinct showrooms in France—revamping their Paris location for more impact and transforming a former boutique in Nice into a light-filled, brand-led retail experience. Every detail was designed to guide customer flow, enhance colour consultation, and elevate the showroom experience.

Little Greene is a long-standing and valued client, known for beautifully crafted paints and wallpapers. So when they asked us to support their growing presence in France, of course we were in. The project covered two very different spaces: a brand-new boutique showroom in Nice, and a strategic revamp in Paris. Both needed to reflect the Little Greene brand while delivering a showroom experience that worked visually, functionally, and commercially.

The Paris showroom was already trading, but it needed more impact inside and out. In Nice, we were starting from a blank canvas, converting a former fashion boutique into a fully branded space.

We travelled to both sites to survey in person. There’s no substitute for seeing how light moves, how people might flow, and where potential bottlenecks could be. We measured up, checked access, and made note of the details that shape how customers would experience the spaces whilst ensuring the functionality for the showroom team to colour consult, tint paints and complete transactions.

Every decision was made through a customer-first lens. What draws people in? How do they explore with confidence?

Paris

We brought the signature colour cube wall out into the street-facing window and carried that energy through the interior, catching attention before anyone even steps inside. The new layout includes a full-scale chip wall, inspirational wallpaper selectors, and the colour mixing and shaker machines, all designed to support natural movement and interaction.

Nice

The Nice space needed to feel light and curated. We scaled key displays, like the colour cube wall and wallpaper units, so they fit naturally into the footprint. A new skylight above the consultation table helps create a bright, welcoming focal point for colour consultation. Every detail was considered from a customer and consultant perspective, how light lands, how materials and colours are presented, how the space supports conversation.

Both showrooms now actively guide how customers explore, compare, and decide. In Paris, the window display draws people in, while the refreshed layout makes browsing easier. In Nice, the compact setup feels open and intuitive. The showroom team are equipped to lead conversations, advise and bring confidence to customers in their colour co-ordination choices.

We continue to produce and supply Little Greene’s paint and wallpaper libraries as they roll out across retail partners in the UK, Europe and North America. And we’re always on hand to support new locations, wherever the next step takes them.
