Ripple have been awarded the Gold Sustainability Award by EcoVadis

EcoVadis use 4 core principles to score partners on Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement, and we’re extremely pleased that from the work already done, we have been awarded a gold rating for 2022, which puts us within the top 6% of companies in our industry, a fantastic achievement and a great start to our continual efforts to become a more sustainable business.

Becoming a sustainable business has been high on our agenda over the past couple of years, however, this award helps us to not only benchmark ourselves within the industry but outlines additional aspects of the business that we can add to our plan of action to further improve our environmental impact.

Brooke Ceramics @ MKM Home

We were approached by MKM Home following their takeover of the tile brand Brooke Ceramics. They wanted to completely overhaul their flagship showroom and trade centre based in Hull which is an eye-catching building, well known in the area and one that has been a tile superstore since the ’90s.

From the outset, we were tasked with the creative design and customer experience planning of the two buildings that make up the signature store, developing the layout and journey through the store, ensuring that the very best of what the brand has to offer is displayed in the best possible way. Our Creative Design Team developed a range of amazing concepts one of which was chosen to take through to delivery and manufacture.

The conversation then naturally lead into technical design and delivery, which once again we were asked to manage. Our Technical Design Team got to work developing the various fixtures and fittings throughout the showroom, taking into account materials, tolerances, workflow and much more, ensuring that everything had a manufacturing process. Of course, we were then able to flex our manufacturing and installation capabilities too!

We’ve just completed the first showroom building in the estate, and what a showroom it is!

Little Greene Window Displays

Throughout 2021, we’ve been working closely with Little Greene Paint & Paper on a number of exciting projects that we’re already starting to see roll out across the brand’s various locations and stockists around the country and we’ll be able to share some of that work very soon.

However, we’ve been supporting the brand with a number of smaller jobs recently, just like their window displays across the London sites in Marlybone, Chelsea, Islington and Notting Hill, promoting the National Trust range of wallpapers.

This range is a really interesting selection of papers, with contemporary designs based on original patterns from the National Trust’s historic houses, and it’s great to read the history behind the inspiration for these designs, some of which span back over 400 years of historic decoration. Each wallpaper in the collection has been beautifully redrawn and recoloured, whilst respectfully acknowledging the traditional methods and materials from which they were originally crafted.

This job was a little bit different to what we usually undertake at Ripple, however the diverse skill set that our design studio has really shone through here. Combining foamex board, vinyl print, formed plastic and a creative mind, this triple-layered design utilises the window itself, along with the suspended fixture which gave a really interesting 3D effect to passers-by.

Parfas Touch Point – Security Lockers.

Parfas Touch Point – Security Lockers.

We’re incredibly excited to be with Parfas, who are a leading security company based in Oldham, Greater Manchester who offer round-the-clock security and monitoring solutions for premises and assets alongside risk management and other integrated security solutions for their clients.

Parfas approached Ripple to discuss developing a bespoke digital locker that features some of their audio-visual tech that can link the lockers back to their 24/7 contact centre for monitoring and support. We were immediately onboard with the idea and after some initial development and prototyping, we now have first model ready to be tested our in the field.

Utilising the technology that Parfas offer within our lockers, especially the 24/7 live monitoring really opens up so many more opportunities to utilise the locker to the best of its ability and giving end-users so many more options when it comes to collection, drop off and storage.

Keep you eyes peeled to see where the Parfas x Ripple Loockers get to, we’re excited!

Trespass Keswick Store Case Study

Keswick is a market town in the north of the Lake District, surrounded by mountains, amazing scenery and of course the lakes. It’s the ideal place for adventurers, hikers, and people looking for an escape, which makes it the ideal location for a Trespass store, featuring their DLX (Designed for Life in Extremes) range and activewear, offering everything passing adventurers would need on their travels.

Having worked with Trespass for a number of years and supporting their monumental growth, the team at Ripple were called upon to manufacture a range of dynamic new look furniture and fixtures for the Keswick store, as part of their new store format roll out, embracing their brand and the great outdoors.

Dulux Decorator Centres – Trade Interiors

Over the years, we have been proud to support Dulux Decorator Centres in the transformation of their retail interior spaces with creative design and manufacturing, focused on customer engagement and brand visibility. We’ve developed a great partnership with both DDC and the AkzoNobel Group and continue to work with them on some exciting projects that we currently have underway. It’s always a pleasure being such an intrinsic part of how the brand continues to develop its trade environments and how they engage with its customers.

From their Head Office reception interior to trade retail environments and design studios, we’ve put the Ripple stamp on many DDC touchpoints.

Alchemy Infuzions Pop-Up Shop

It’s great to see so many brands getting back to focusing on their retail space. We are currently working with some exciting clients who are looking to the future and adapting their physical environments to provide engaging customer experiences.

One of our newest customers, Alchemy are taking their first steps into the retail world with their first pop-up shop, currently located at Houndshill Shopping Centre in Blackpool. Alchemy’s brief was to create a premium finished solution with countertop space to showcase their feature products, lockable storage space to hold stock as well as being easy to set-up and dismantle to move to different shopping centres whilst testing locations and audiences.

We also integrated two freestanding digital screens featuring videos of their products, the eye-catching large format screens are a great way to engage and inspire potential customers.
