This new small store format is part of the Topps Tiles’ revolution and it has been shortlisted for the Retail Week Interiors Awards which takes place next month. Phil D’Souza commented “this is a fantastic validation of the work Ripple have delivered for Topps and all going well will be recognised with a win!”
The project followed the success of the small format ‘Boutique’ High Street stores, the teams at Ripple and Topps worked closely to develop a larger size format (around 200 to 300 m²). The inaugural store was Knutsford (next to the McLaren dealership) closely followed by Wilmslow. The Knutsford store staff namely Mike, Lee, Jo and Rachel had all previously worked in the traditional format stores and commented how much the customers loved this new environment which achieved sales beyond all expectations from the offset.
