Buyer/Estimator Retail Display Equipment and Shopfitting
Accountability for the cost effective and efficient operation of the estimating and procurement functions. To provide accurate cost estimates with a focus on winning business and controlling /reducing costs through the procurement process. To develop, manage and performance measure suppliers in the UK and globally and meet the needs required to satisfy all supply demands, influencing cost efficiencies, quality and deadlines.
The Person :
- Has excellent communication skills and a high level of competency in commercial purchasing & supply and contract management. • Great team player, trustworthy, self-motivated and passionate.
Skills and background :
- Proven negotiation skills with accountability for profit contribution. • Has a strong mathematical grounding and an analytical mind-set. • Creative and lateral thinking capability to contribute to the design and technical development process. • Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word), proven organisational skills. • Background in Shopfitting / Manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
